Working out should be fun! It relieves stress, enhances your mood and strengthens your muscles and mind. At PR with CR we work together to create a specific exercise plan that’s as unique as you are.
It all starts with getting to know you. Everyone has a different starting point and path they want their fitness journey to follow. Together we will devise a plan to get you there, defining realistic goals and achieving them as a team.
Training comes in several forms – personal, small group and in-home. Additionally, I offer nutritional support as a complement to your workout regimen or as a stand-alone option. I model my classes after the CrossFit style of exercise, combining high-intensity interval training with strength building. My On Ramp class is one of my favorites and is a fantastic way to learn and become comfortable with this dynamic workout style.
Fitness is my job, my focus and my passion. It wasn’t always this way, though. Like many, I use to exercise to be skinny. I didn’t consider myself athletic, but used my workouts to unwind from my stressful corporate job. That was until I discovered CrossFit. I learned how to exercise for results and was surprised by the strength of my body. Nearly a decade ago I left the corporate world to focus on fitness full time. I became a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise and have completed my CrossFit Level 1 and 2, Mobility and CrossFit Kids training.
As a busy mother of two, I totally get it. It can be difficult to find the time for working out and nutrition. But, significant results can be seen in as little as a few 30-minute sessions a week. And in my case that allows plenty of time to hike with my family, travel, chase the sunshine and feed my slightly weird waterfall obsession.
